About Red Dirt Press

Red Dirt Press, established in 2013, is devoted to publishing contemporary North American New South Literature that addresses the complexities and diversities of the New South, and global perspectives that intersect with issues of regionalism and social justice.

Red Dirt Press publishes both new and established voices; all titles may be found in independent bookstores and on Amazon, online Barnes and Noble, and with other online venues.

Amy Susan Wilson, Red Dirt Press' publisher, is the author of the short story collection Fetish and Other Stories, The Balkan Press, second edition, and the forthcoming poetry collection Billy Ray. A Pushcart 2018 nominee, her work has appeared in This Land, Southern Women's Review, Conclave, The Literary Lawyer, and elsewhere. She is Managing Editor of Red Dirt Forum, formerly known as Red Truck Review. A native Oklahoman, she holds degrees from the University of Oklahoma and Columbia University.
